I work both face to face and online throughout the week. Online counselling via zoom can suit you well if you spend time in different places or work abroad. Perhaps you would prefer to talk in the privacy and comfort of your own home.
Working online also saves time if you have a counselling session during your working day or in your lunch break. With some clients we alternate online sessions with phone and walk therapy.
Online counselling saves you from having to travel to have counselling sessions.
While online therapy is a much newer form of therapy, current evidence suggests that for many people it can be just as effective as in-person therapy. Talking from the security of your own home may even make it easier for you to open up about your problems and issues.
Online therapy means you don't have to travel anywhere to get the help you need, saving you time and money. This is also helpful if your mental health, mobility or other issues make it difficult to leave the house, or if you live in a remote area.
We can still work creatively online using Gestalt two chair techniques, art therapy and screen sharing to look at diagrams and strategies.
Please contact me for an informal chat, prior to arranging an online counselling session.
